2019 Soul Turbo for Grubhub and Uber Eats delivery vehicle

I bought my Soul Turbo to do my Grubhub and Uber Eats deliveries in.....I love it!! It is so much fun...I get great gas mileage....Its very maneuverable in tight parking lots......Anyone else here use their Soul for the same purpose?

I tried Lyft but concluded it's not worth it for me.
Drive all day, bill them $125 if it goes good.
Mileage expense for IRS is 54.5 cents per mile.
Drove 150 miles, mileage expense $81.75.
OK, I don't burn $80 of gas, but you have to think about maintenance and wear and tear on your car.
Plus, had to pay more for insurance to cover rideshare work.

Not quite the same, I know, just fwiw.
You could probably do better driving at night, which I did not want to do.

be aware and check your warranty manual for details, as there is exclusions on coverage for vehicles used for commercial purposes.

I'd probably gain an extra 100 lb and 1 star reviews in a week. Not sure how you do it.

I haven't read much about it but I'm betting most insurance companies frown on "commercial" use of your car. Not sure what happens if you got into an accident.

While you are on a delivery you are covered under Uber's insurance.

Sassy, the Weasel Wagon, excels at food delivery and people pickup and delivery!

Sassy does Doordash, Postmates, Roadie, Lyft, Uber, Timed Pick Ups to earn her keep and put cash in the bank!

Sassy also picks up horse feed and pine pellet bedding for my animal rescue.

Sassy works about 3 to 8 hours a day or night, occassionally Sassy puts in 10 to 12 hour days, generally 5 days a week, sometimes 7.

Sassy will soon be a year old and already has over 53k miles. But still looks brand new. Well, mostly new. Except for where the deer ran into us and bounced off. And except for the place where a lady following too closely on a rainy day bumped into the rear bumper....

    Everything else looks brand new!

Sassy regularly gets 30 mph! Town AND city averaged!

I love Sassy, the Weasel Wagon!

All the gig car jobs cover us while we are actively engaged in delivery. I added a rider to my State Farm policy which added 26 bucks to the entire policy, so I can have TNC insurance for going to get the food or person.
