Grote has some nice add in DRL modules that can be quite simple (start car headlamps come on) or rather involved (DRLs turn off with hand brake or when head lamp switch is turned on) they come complete with instructions for various instalation needs.

Ok, good news for the US owners.

I went digging through the car today and did some testing on the existing hardware. Everything needed to do DRL is there and functioning. The BCM will activate and control the DRL relay inside the fuse block in the passenger compartment. The only thing needed is to run a few wires from the BCM to the fuse block and from the block to the DRL resistor.

I'm going to try and hit the local junk yards this week to try and find some Kia harness plugs that I can steal the pins out of. I will be taking pictures and posting a DIY as soon I can.

Sam
