Welding is an option that would be up to the end user. I personally would prefer to drill new holes than weld but that's just me.

Drilling holes doesn't really take away from the metal where welding, and the heating can change the properties of the metal and potentially weaken the structure if not done properly.

Have you done any dyno testing with the Soul 2.0 with and without your intake? I am interested, especially if the stock intake is very restrictive like many stock units are.
