Yeah, I figured as much. Thought I'd ask your opinion because I know you've seen quite a bit of everything.

The Stillen intake is not a CAI. The Injen is nice and loud.
If you cut the resonator out, it may be unbearably loud. Try driving in a higher RPM range. |

The exhaust looks sweet, but the intake looks too short to be pulling in cold air? Do they make a longer intake tube to grab air from inside the fender?

Stillen does not.
There are several real cold air intakes out there. The Injen and Takeda are the 2 best performing and looking. |

Thats why the Stillen is actually called a High flow intake. In hind site I wish I had purchased one of the CAI's also, but I can live with the Stillen for now. There is just too many other goodies I want for now.

Coorz, I know what you mean man.
I got the AEM first and am much happier with the Injen. You'll be able to find someone to take the Stillen off you easily if you want to upgrade. Fox, you should ask that question in a new thread, it's got nothing to do with this one brother. The answer is, in short, NO. But your exhaust will be much MUCH louder than you want it. I can tell you from experience. |
