Thread: Door panel damage

I'm a new forum member (and new to forum's in general) but I've had my Kia Soul for 18 months and I absolutely LOVE it!! It is the nicest handling car I have ever driven--including in a Michigan Blizzard!! I am hoping to 'customize' it and looking at pictures. (Mine is black and I seem to lack imagination.) My one problem is the interior door handle. I must hold my keys in my left hand (although I am trying to break that habit) and have caused damage to the interior grip. When I first got the KIA I was searching for accessories and found a "cup" that would go in there and cover the plastic. Due to my slow speed internet--I cannot seem to find it again. Anyone seen it? Or have other suggestions?

The interior is known to scratch and damage pretty easily (even in the later 2010's that are supposed to have the stronger interior). I try to keep my keys away from it as much as possible. Maybe set them in the middle cup holder or counsel? I have all my keys on my key ring attached to the car key, so that's the only suggestion I really have for you! Or maybe place them in the "sunglasses" compartment, since sunglasses don't seem to fit in there anyway

The Soul is an awesome vehicle to customize! (of course I say that having bought only a few decals and never putting them on!! It's so unique as it is!)

I always say that if I win the lotto, I'm buying a black Kia Soul, and adding pink accents to it :P I like the color mix! Maybe adding a stripe of color would make it feel more personal to you? Go on something like eBay or even Google and type in Kia Soul Accessories, or even look through the forums, and the aftermarket mods. You'll find a lot you want to do to it I'm sure!!

As i bite my fingernails compulsively, I'd know nothing about the scratching problem.

I'll try to search e-bay--could be that's where I saw them. And yes, I'm obsessed with my Soul. Especially as gas climbs and climbs......
