Thread: New here! Very soon to be a Soul owner!

Hey all! After months of research and debating which car I want, I ended up deciding on the Soul. What did it for me what driving it. I knew I loved it as soon as my foot hit the pedal. One of the most comfortable cars I've driven. It's unique, has great visibility, affordable, an fairly economical. Not to mention comes with the best warranty out there. How could I say no? I'm in the middle of the buying process. I've searched several dealers but I don't really want any other color than Titanium or Moss, and any dealer around me doesn't have either, not in the Plus model anyway. But soon...very soon...I will be a proud new Soul owner! :-D

I was in the same situation the last few months. I knew the general type of car I liked, but after test driving all the different models and brands, I kept coming back to the Soul. For the price it just has everything and the ride is so much more spacious and comfy.

For me, I was deciding between Titanium, Moss, and Dune. Eventually I lucked out and found an awesome used Titanium with all the bells and whistles for cheap. Good luck to you and your search.

Edit: Titanium looks like a darker, green/yellow-tinted silver, and moss looks like a darker, brown-tinted forest green imo. Both very nice colors.

evoxpisces - welcome to the forum, hope you get fixed up soon, but this vehicle is in very high demand, so be patient. Many dealers can do exchanges with other dealers or purchases, which was in my case due to the colour I wanted, (my dealer wasn't expecting the colour I wanted into his own stock for about a further six weeks) so my local dealer obtained it from another dealer outside of Montreal, which was a 10 hour round trip for the guy that picked it up (on a trailer, not driving it). However, they are not going to do something like that unless they have a deal first.

Thanks for the welcomes. I loved the Moss color as soon as I saw it in person. Titanium is my second choice but I'll definitely take Moss first. It is funny though, that the Soul seems to be everything I'm looking for in a car. I've looked at many others, changed my mind a few times but every time I saw a Soul on the road I wanted it again. I'll just continue to look and be patient and eventually I'll find the right one for me! :-)

The dealer was able to locate a '13 Soul +, A/T, Moss, w/ Eco Pkg, Auto-Dim Rearview Mirror and Compass, Cargo Liner/Tray, Wheel Locks, Rear Bumper Applique, and iPod Cable for $19,700. Going down to the dealer on Friday to discuss price. If they high-ball me, I'll just walk away and wait. But I hope they can give me a decent price because I'm excited to drive it!
