    Auto Window Relay Kit

I installed the window relay from shark racing and really like it.
    The main features are:
-1 touch up and down on all four windows

-when all four windows are down, one quick pull on the driver and front passenger buttons and all four windows roll up

-remote control: When out of the car, lock the car and all the windows roll up, unlock-lock-unlock and the windows roll down

-when you open the driver door, the windows cracks open, when you shut the door, the windows closes. I'm told that this is a fancy-pants feature that is found on luxury cars to equalize the pressure in the car...not sure if it's true but I'll take it.

The relay is especially handy for me because I have the 5 speed and it's nice to have the one touch so I can shift uninterrupted. The install was pretty straight forward except there are two gray wires in the door panel and there are no directions telling you how to distinguish the two. In my case, the smaller diameter (higher gauge) gray wire was the ticket. Total install time (assuming no catastrophes) is about 45 minutes. Just make sure you disconnect the negative wire from the battery terminal...I accidentally ran a hot wire across the body metal and blew the multi-fuse. This thing is $40 and can only be purchased from a dealership/OEM supplier. The parts department didn't even know what this thing was or looked liked so I was a little worried that I ordered the wrong part but everything worked out.

And where did you connect that wire to?

    Got any pictures?

I've been wanting one since I had the ones in my Tiburon. How long did it take them to get it to you?

i think this feature is usually fitted on cars with frameless doors, i always thought it was to allow the glass to hook into the door rubber after closing to create a better seal at high speed and stop the top edge of the glass getting sucked outwards.

It's a 2010. I promise to get photos up soon...maybe a youtube video. I have an extra relay if you are interested in purchasing one. Brand new, everything including (along with better instructions than you'll get from Shark Racing).

The module sits in the bottom of the door with adhesive tape (included). Everything is plug and play with the exception of a few wires that are spliced into the door actuator controls, a constant power source, and the door ajar light.
