Plastidip is a rubberized coating orginally inteded for tools to help with grip/prevent rusting etc but it has a wide variety of uses. Once applied and dried you can peel it off and for most surfaces it doesn't cause any harm.

So far i've done my gas door, vent visors, parts of my bumpers, my rims and the silver brackets for my rack. If i ever get tired of it I can just peel it off and i'm back to stock.

you can buy it at Home Hardware in Canada, plus some automotive places. I am current testing it out with the clear finish, coated both my license plates instead of the plastic covers. Also expanded the rear door 3m clear protective trip to cover a much larger area to see how well it stands up over the winter.

How well is it holding up on your rims? Through wear and tear and washes?
