I have read through the forums and found one other thread where someone else had this same problem, but I didn't see any definitive answer on the solution.
I have a AT&T (HTC) Fuze, latest firmware, and my car has NEVER once given me the "Transfer Complete" message, I get "Connection Complete" when I pair the phone (And I've deleted it and re-paired it several times now). If I press the talk button, it says "Please wait" and sits there.
After a few minutes, I can press talk and then say "Call xx at xx" and confirm it, it makes the fast dialing sound, and says "Active Call" on the screen, but never connects...a few moments of silence and then it drops right back to the radio - if I hit the talk button again, it says "Downloading Phonebook" on the screen and will say that for at least 10 minutes...eventually it will respond to a Talk Button request and repeat the same cycle. It never says "Transfer Complete" and it never seems to allow me to make a call.
I guess I shouldn't say never, it made the first call I ever tried, and it made a call yesterday immediately after I deleted the connection on the head unit AND my phone, rebooted the phone, and then paired it with the head unit again....it made one call and then immediately after that it went back to this mode.
Although this afternoon, I had a good laugh with it - I'll post about that in another thread.
Any ideas as to what is wrong and how to fix it?
