Thread: New Sub Box and Sub Install

This is my first post to this forum and love the amount of info that is on here.

I am a big audio guy and have always had stereos in my cars and am just now getting around to putting a little something in my Soul. One thing I had wanted to accomplish was to keep my storage room in the cargo area. I found a local stereo shop and told him what I had in mind and he showed me a design that he had already done before. I didn't realize it but he sells these boxes on his website, NET Audio

The box replaces the foam storage tray above the spare tire and is easily removable to get to my spare tire. I love it! It gives me the sound I want without taking away my cargo space, which keeps my wife happy.

I hope you guys like it, I thought it was a great design and it sounds great. I should be adding on to the rest of my system soon I hope, now I need to get my door speakers replaced. It never stops

Thats a badass setup! I bet shipping would be a killer for that thing. I saw he only charges $150 which is pretty good for that box.

Welcome to the forum with your first post. I was noting your DRIVES profile, you say you are from Wichita Falls, which I presume must be in the US. If this is so, then you can't possibly have an '09 Soul, the first year for North America was a 2010 model . It also doesn't tell us which model you have?

Good point. I just changed that to keep confusion down. I call it an 09 cause the manufacture date on my door is 01-09. I guess it just took forever for it to get to the states to sell. I bought the car used and am new to the whole Soul scene so I'm not too sure about what the model is. Based off of the wheels I think I have the +. I don't have leather or Infinity or anything like that.

What did it say on your invoice when you purchased it, it should clearly state the model. The 10th digit from the left on your VIN number will tell you the year with A = 2010, B = 2011, etc, 2009 = 9. The Soul was released in the US in early 2009 as a 2010 model. Generally from the time of production on your door post it takes anywhere from 4-8 weeks to get to the dealership.

If you have stock 16" rims then it would be the plus model, I do not have full details on US models, Canadian ones I can tell you every detail and US models are not equipped the same as ours. If you give us some outside shots we could perhaps narrow it down for you.

I would guess it's a + because of the wheels.
