I upgraded my 2012's UVO with this update and no problems to report. I didn't really notice any improvement, but I really haven't had much problem with it either. It does do a weird thing on the voice recognition from time to time and it still does it after the upgrade. I'll ask for a song from the USB drive and it repeats the name of the song correctly then plays something else. If I repeat the process a second time, it will say the same name of the song and then play the right song. It doesn't do it consistently though.

Thanks for the update. I don't have problems with UVO playing the wrong song after reading the right name...makes me hesitant to update. Will it continue from the song it left off on when you turn the car off then on again? Also the biggest issue I have with UVO is that you can't play bluetooth audio until it's finish syncing contacts; wish they would fix that and the playlist issue.

The occasional "playing the wrong song problem" existed before the update and still occurs after, so the update didn't make any difference in my situation. I believe it does continue playing the song that was playing when the car was switched off. I don't really use BT audio, so that issue doesn't really affect me.

The update doesn't change anything in audio playback as far as I can tell, and it still will play the song where you left off when turning the car back on.

And you can turn off syncing your contacts everytime the bluetooth connects, it's in the phone set up menu somewhere.

I have had that happen too. What I think is the culprit, is that it understands what you want, says it back, and then goes to find it in the library and fails so it just plays the song that was playing.

Created an account, logged in, pasted link, agreed to agreement, download successful. Trying to get my iPod working (Nano 4G, Apple cable, Keep getting "Media Connect Failed"). Wish me luck.

Yay. It works. Love the bigger clock, even though it's still pretty small.

When you say "bigger clock" do you mean the tiny one in the upper right corner when the sat channel or radio is playing? Of the big clock when nothing's playing?

Probably means the one that's one when you're listening to the UVO. I noticed it too, think it came in 2 updates back. Not a tremendous difference, but I think not only the clock got bigger but the Artist/Title font did too. Maybe by one point, not a huge diff but I noticed it right away.

Yeah the one in the upper right when it's on. You should not be driving if you can't read the big one.
