None of the 2012 models come with a spare tire, at least in the US.

That's what I understand here too. From what I've read, most, if not all, US Auto Manufacturers were going to the Mobility Kits, starting with the 2012 Models. My + that I bought at the end of October, came with the Tire Mobility Kit, and I ordered the Donut Spare and Jack Kit to replace it. Mine now looks like the one you have here:

FYI for JMSetzler, with the Donut Spare & Jack Kit installed in place of the Mobility Kit, the Under-Cover Cargo Tray still fits perfectly. I pulled the Compressor and Fix-A-Flat Gunk out of the smaller tray, and placed it in my Cargo Tray as a backup. The Smaller Mobility Kit Foam Tray is now in my attic.

    Cheers!

Check with your Dealer if you want to pay full price, or... you can look for a Kit on EBAY, Local Junkyards, etc, and save some money. The 2010 & 2011 Donut Spares will fit the 2012.

    Best of Luck!

I bought a kia soul + and mine only came with the fix o flat kit. Am I supposed to have a spare tire, also? The back end is molded for a tire. Im thinking I got short changed. Any thoughts?

Hope this does not sound like a stupid question... I have 18" wheels on my Soul and plan on using my factory 15"s for snow tires, Would like to only buy one spare donut if possible. Would a 16" work for both summer and winter? Or should I buy a 15" & 18" spare donuts? Thanks!!!

I would get the size for the most use, its not as if you would be using the compact spare for long if you did encounter a flat. The compact spare with the 18" is actually a T125/80D16 and the one used for the 15/16" rims is a T125/80D15. My choice would be the 16" compact.

Thanks for the information . I think I will order a 16" compact on payday. I just like the idea of having more than the kit that is provided by Kia, Especially on long trips.

don't blame you, I double checked the US owners manual regarding that info (I got it from my Canadian owners manual) and its the same. (section 8, page 3)
