Took the day off today and installed....

Took the day off today and put on the side stripes from House of Grafx. Not hard to do, just tedious work getting them on straight and without any air bubbles in the stripes. The trick to installing the stripes is cleaning the surface real good first and then wipe it down with a good rubbing alchohol to get them spotless. Then take a spray bottle and fill it with water and four or five drops of Dawn dishwashing soap and shake well. Spray the surface of the car real wet and peel the stripes and wet the back of the stripes as well and apply with a squeegee or a credit card if you dont have one and get all the air and water bubbles out. Peel back the outer paper and trim the edges and voila... youre done.

I also tinted the front windows to match the rest of the car with 20% tint. Same deal, wet with the same solution, squeegee out the air and water bubbles and trim to fit. The windows are a lot harder to get right than the stripes.

Here are a couple of pics of the finished job, wheels and tires are next if I can find a bag of cash somewhere....

Looks good. I just installed mine about a week ago too. I placed mine a bit lower to follow the door edge only because that was what I saw in the photo House supplied. I see your's is a bit higher...still looks fine.

It looks like you used gloss black? That's the color I used because I already have a 'hockey stick' graphic in that color.

The graphx look good! I did my own window tint 3 1/2 yrs. ago and it still looks great. Nice job even better cause you saved money and did it yourself!
