Put this in an kiss your catalytic converter goodbye.

If a car manufacturer could provide an extra 4-7 MPG
and 60 HP don't you think they would already do it ?

If it sounds too good to be true it usually is.

Save your money Tidre. It's a bunch of crap. A lot of people fall for this and the only thing they get is ripped off with less money in their pockets or wallets for some

Seriously, stay away from these B.S. chips!

I tried a Superchip in my last vehicle and all it did is it required me to use premium fuel. I couldn't tell any difference in performance, so in my opinion it was a waste of money.

The "chips" that those clowns at G-Force are advertising are nothing more than resistors that are designed to give false data to the PCM from the ACT/IAT (air charge/intake air temperature) sensor. The idea is to tell the PCM that the air coming into the engine is colder than it is, therefore, the PCM will command a slightly richer fuel mixture and a more aggressive spark advance rate, and the result that they want is the engine to make more power. The problem is that anytime you send bogus information to the PCM, it's not going to do what it is designed to. If you want more power, and a driving experience more suited to your tastes, you can't get it with a little $40-50 gizmo like this. You're going to need to have the proper software in order to alter the tuning parameters on the PCM. Don't confuse these G-Force "chips" with those designed to actually change the tuning on the PCM. Most "chips" that are designed to change the tuning on the PCM are on the right track, but the bulk "canned" tunes that are on them are designed to work with pretty much every application can't get you maximum gains or the best quality tune. In order to get the best quality, you have to deal with a tuning company that knows your particular vehicle and the very complex control system. To do things properly, you must tune the entire system, and not just blindly throw more spark advance or change the fuel mixture. Proper tuning is beneficial and allows you to refine the driveability of the car to the way you want it to drive, instead of the way the manufacturers have to build them. Manufacturers are forced to build cars that please everybody most of the time, and meet emissions standards. They can't build cars that please a narrow spectrum of individuals all the time, or they would turn away the larger percentage or prospective buyers with a car that performs in manner that they would see as defective.

Yes, I have. Unfortunately, the Asian automakers use rather ancient control systems compared to US and even European automakers. This limits the availability of quality tunes and software for accounting for aftermarket modifications, and/or changes to the system for driver preference. This lack of readily available tuning methods, along with the limited budget and downright wrong internet advice/expertise leads to many of the problems that you see in the ricer-boy world of mods.
