Well, I don't have any experience with those tires, but they do get pretty good ratings on tirerack.com as well as other sites.

I've bought some CHEAP tires over the years and never found a set I thought was worse than the stock Nexens that came on my 2011.

Those are the stock tires on mine. There pretty good (dry or wet) but found them a bit hard, but it's my first car with such low profile tires (235/45R18).

I have these! Bought them after my stock Hankook Optimo 15's on my 2013 started hitting the red after 33k miles.

They feel grippier than the Hankooks, and I've noticed a lot less slippage when roads are slick.

I got them crazy cheap awhile ago from Tire Crazy, $40 a piece free shipping. For a price that low, I can't complain about the quality haha

There should be two governing factors when selecting a tire for your car.

1 Where and how are you going to drive your car?
2 How much money can you afford to spend?

I drive a lot in sand, and the OEM tires that came on my car were horrible. So I went looking for some real sand hogs that I could afford.
My first choice was a great off road tire from Kelly Tires. They pulled like tractor tires in sand, and never hydroplaned on wet roads, but, , , they were noisy out on the highway. Then Kelly stopped making them.

So it was back to my tire guy and a search for another high traction tire that I could afford.
Many companies have stopped making 15" tires, so my options were diminishing.

We finally came up with this tire...

Looks are deceiving! It's a weird looking tire but it does everything I need a tire to do. In the sand, even at my preferred 42 PSI, it pulls GREAT! And out on the highway, it's pretty quiet, handles great and does NOT hydroplane.
But at just $68 per tire, I jumped on that deal like a goose on a junebug.

I've got several thousand miles on those tire already and I'll be going back to my tire guy for more in the future.

    Good Luck and Happy Trails!

Mine came with Kuhmo TA31s. They are fine for me. Lots of freeway, rain driving plus long dry summers. No problems with them. No slipping. Don't know about snow & ice though.

I would think those will be fine for Pt Townsend & Peninsula roads.

    Best of luck!
