Thread: What car did you replace with the Soul?

Hmmmm! Some interesting cars!
I thought I'd already responded to this thread,,,,,but I guess not.

Well, I traded in my 2009 Suzuki SX4, iAWD, Crossover. See pic.


At almost 40k miles, I had NO problems with the car. In 4WD, it would go almost anywhere.
I loved the little car and living out in the country, on sand roads, it was just right for me.
But, it was coming up on mandatory maintenance that was going to cost me over $500 at a dealership,
and there are NO dealerships left, in central FL.

The transition to the 2013 Kia Soul was almost a no-brainer. My car payments went down by a few dollars,
my insurance pmt went down by $30 per month, and my MPG went up by 3 to 5 mpg.
So as I said....."NO Brainer!".

If the Soul was a dog, it wouldn't be such a good deal, but it's a little Wildcat! It definitely OUT PERFORMS
the SX4, in spite of the fact that it's not 4WD.
If they ever come out with a Soul that's AWD, they will definitely have a top seller, especially in the Snow Country.

Had been driving my dad's 2009 Toyota Rav4 for quite some time, finally got a car of my own (2013 Kia Soul, 6-speed AT base model)

Soon to be retiring a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R SpecV.

Anyone want to buy it?

I traded in a 2004 Nissan Sentra 1.8 for my new, 2013 Kia Soul 1.6. I'm totally loving it!

A 2008 Kia Rio. My main reason for being down on junk fuels. 35+ mpg on the Eway until I would fuel up at one of the Big Box truck stops and see it drop to 31!!

My Soul replaced a 2007 Ford Escape XLT 4WD V6. It had approx 77k and developed an oil leak behind the timing chain cover. It was out of warranty. I was quoted $2k to fix it by an independent shop and 3 months before that I had to replace the right CV axle because the ABS toner ring broke.

2002 Chrysler Town and Country Mini Van with 180,000 miles. I will miss the huge space of that van.

A 2008 Pontiac G6 GXP Coupe. The car had over 260hp and was very sharp looking. I like change so typically I get a different car every 2 years. The main reason I got rid of the G6 GXP is because I have two kids and the 2 door wasn't working for us anymore.

I traded my '99 Ford Explorer Sport with 38k miles (which I bought new). Took the dealership all of 1 1/2 hours to resell it on a Saturday afternoon without even cleaning it up (not that it needed it).

Just traded in my 2012 Nissan Titan crew cab. Loved the power and room but the 12MPG I was getting quickly became unbearable and I needed something that wouldn't cost over $100 to fill up.
