normally look at stocks to get a better idea as to sentiment for what a business is doing and/or not doing and most especially when company isn't on board with sec , and think i get why article is saying "good-bye" by 2011 (that is unless kia comes out with something else to spike more of a long term interest)...
according to a little work over at the otcbb.com
toyota outstanding share count = 1,568,003,322 -- current stock price = $68.57 (even with all the trouble) -- 52 week high= $91.97--- 52 week low = $68.05 -- 1.09 mil traded today
honda o/s = 1,814,602,736 -- current stock price = $28.75 -- 52 week high= $37.23--- 52 week low = $25.00 -- 1.19 mil traded today
kia o/s = 393,024,505 -- current stock price = $23.00 -- -- 52 week high = $23.00 -- 52 week low = $15.70 --- 0 traded today >>> last trade was 4/12/10
came back to throw in
hyundai o/s = 220,276,479 (less than ^^ who recently added more to probably cover some debt) -- current stock price = $66.60 --- 52 week high = $66.60 -- 52 week low = $66.60 --- 0 traded today >>> last trade was 7/24/09 (so sentiment for both is flat )
