Duh! Sealed? What are you really asking?
Three screws, takes the whole tail-light assembly out and in your hands. Then the bulbs just come out with a 1/4 turn twist CCW.
So again, what do you really want to know?

Prob if he can throw them in the oven for a while and pull them apart like most headlights to modify them

I'm asking how they are sealed. I know how to remove them from the car. I want to remove the outer, clear lens from the assembly.
Msnider, I am thinking of just tossing them in the oven like ive done to my headlights but didn't know if someone here has already tried it so I knew what I was getting myself into.
^^^ Curious too, anyone know?
If you don't get an answer sinbad, and you bake them, post your results.
I really want to tint the tails but I don't want to do the entire lens, I just want to tint the yellow and red inside. I'm a bit scared to bake them because I've read stories of how people melted the lights because they "aren't made to handle the heat like headlights are"
so I don't know. I might try to take a better look at them and see if there is any signs of glue or anything like that.
Try a heat gun?
After taking the trim off and inspecting it closer, I'm not sure if it's glue. The seams look too clean to be glue...but I could be wrong considering they're constructed in a factory. The lip of the clear lens blocks the view and can't confirm whether it's glue or plastic welded.
I had taken them off once when I first got it just for kicks to see if the painted trim part came off and I briefly look at the seal but didn't look too closely. I might pop them out on sunday and try. The best way I can think to find out for sure is to take some fishing line and "floss" between the lens and housing, if its soft, then its glue, if its hard, then its plastic welded.
