Is there any way to soften the suspension on these Souls? I feel every line in the road that I drive across. I have the 16in wheels and they are properly inflated. Would a taller tire help any?

I think the 16 inch wheels basically confirms he has a Plus. I don't see the need for more detail than a Soul with 16 inch wheels/tires.

What tires do you have? Are they the factory cheapos? If so, several people have commented that a better brand, even in the 18s, has provided a quieter, smoother ride.

That being said, it is a Soul and the ride will never be that of an Infiniti or Lexus.

Hmmm! I've got 16's on mine with the Stock Plus Alloy Wheels, and it's extremely comfortable. What brand of Tire came with your car? I've seen two different Brands of tires that come with the 2012's, one of which is Nexen, which is what I have.

When I bought my Road Hazard Warranty through Discount Tire, they looked at the Tires, and said they were about the same quality as Michelin. So, if I have to get a new tire, they'll replace it with a Michelin. I plan on going with Michelin anyway, when the tires have reached their Max Mileage. I've never heard of Nexen before buying my Soul.

    Cheers!

Mine don't seem too bad... I have Hankook's (16). It only gets annoying if I am on concrete for prolonged periods. Blacktop is smooth. Has anyone tried airing down the tires a couple pounds? Would the TMPS freak at 30 psi?

The nexen tyres are the culprits. They will soften slightly at about 4k usually..... but your best option would be to invest in some really good quality tyres. You already have the best Soul ride combination with the 16 inch wheels.

    He's driving a SOUL!

Model doesn't matter as it pertains to the ride and or ones interpretation of how it feels as it zips down the road!

Why would you want softer ride mine is perfect with 15s. If you want lousy soft mushy car get Toyota some worst suspensions made. After driving the corolla sure was nice to have stiffer handling car. Now granted a MAZDA tribute I drove was over top stiff riding in back I noticed it and never complain about that before. I am not knocking Toyotas at all but they are not no BMW.

conwelpic, please stop requesting this in every thread when someone doesnt have it posted. It clutters the page and gets annoying fast.

OP, the only real option to change down to 15 inch wheels I think.
