I found a red
fuse (I'm guessing that's what it is) on the floor and it's obviously been cut.. I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it or how it happened and I'm a little scared to start my car because I don't know what will happen. I looked under the steering wheel and that seems to be the only thing that was tampered with.
UPDATE: started car, checked everything that I could think of and things seem to be okay. Wondering if my car had some type of tracking device previously.. I don't really know much
That is an aftermarket fuse holder that may not have even come from your car. I would not worry about it as it's probably just trash for the previous owner. If you don't see any indication where it came from under the dash then I would let it go.
well then you can always re install it if there is enough wire left at one end or get amother fuse holder. Usually they are used for something to do with the audio system
If you have both ends of wire located under the dash then just to to the autoparts store and get another fuse holder like the one you have. You will also need some butt connectors to join everything together. Easy repair as long as you can get all both ends of the wire that old fuse holder went to.
