    Manumatic shifting issue

I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem when lauching the car.
I step on the brake and rev to 2500 rpms then take off shift from 1st to 2nd gear is fine but while im picking up speed it will shift to 3rd on its own causing me to lose all my momentum. Is there something im may b doing wrong to cause this or is it just the computer messing with the car? If so is there anyway to correct that?

I don't have that exact issue. My issue is that it seems to lose power when I step on the gas to accellerate. The cars revs high and the engine seems to back off before it accellerates. I have a 2012 4U

Do you have the ACTIVE ECO button on?

Your talking about the + - shifter right? I never heard it a called "Manumatic" before. The only time it will shift for you is when you redline the engine. Its a safety feature so you engine doesn't explode. Or it also downshifts automatically when you are coming to a stop.

If you step on it hard and don't shift up quick enough it will upshift for you. May not be at the max "redline" but as Lifeguard Soul says the computer wants to prevent engine damage.

I just put that because i dont no wat its called but the + - shifter is what im talking about. Ya when i shift in to 2nd it will reach about 4000 rpm than change itself into 3rd. So im not redlining. Is there any way to remove this safety feature?

probably, turn it off and see what happens. ACTIVE ECO tweaks the engine and transmission for maximum economy but at the expense of performance.
