    Question Slippery Light Issue!

Hello Guys, I owe a 2010 Kia Soul Mate 2.0L, Recently I changed the bulbs of the map, dome, license plate, Tail, backup and the brake light, I replaced for led bulb without canbus error free and did not use a resistor, can this provoke that the lights go on { ESC light} , even though the vehicle is parked?

His "slippery light" aka (ESC light) won't turn off I assume when the car is started due to the mods of lights.

yes. It does affect, result is the traction control light going on and the eco light going off.

You need a resistor to make that brake led light work. 25w 10ohz(?) Do a quick search on the forum and there is a tutorial explaining this.

    Edit: found it.

You answered your own question. You didn't use a resistor.

Thank you guys for the rapid responses, I am going to try installing a resistor to the system lights, as Bodycount explains it in his tutorial.

    Molten 2012 Soul !
The only bulb that should need a resistor is the turn signal bulb. At least that's how it worked on my ! when I converted all my non-led bulbs over. I have to wonder, however, if the ! has a built in canbus corrector since it comes with the led taillights and front turn/parking lights.

I love it! I'm going to have to remember that and use it from now on to refer to my ESC button/light.

I'll bet your service manager/writer will be scratching his head if you lay "slippery light" on him.
