    TPMS Low warning light.

So a couple of night's back on my way home I noticed a light blinking and it was my low tire pressure light. Pulled over checked all the tires and all seemed well none were flat. Got back in the car and continued home and the light stopped blinking and haven't had an issue since.

I guess what I'm trying to figure out is if this is an issue that needs to be taken to the dealer. And also if a warning light comes on such as ESC, ABS, TPMS, or like a check engine light. Is a chime not made that I have heard in other cars before? Is it just the light only?

These dummy lights rarely make any noises at all. My guess is that some sort of miscommunication between your tires and you car occur causing the flashing TPMS light. You don't need to take it to the dealer unless the problem persists.

Did you ever check the tire pressure of the tires to see if they are low? A tire not being flat can have low air pressure a flat has none. If you have a tire on the edge of being low it might set off the DIC as you start off and build up enough pressure as the tire gets hot while driving.

In the manual, it says blinking = fault in the TPMS sysem. It happens to me as well from time to time. I have noticed that when I get a phone call, it happens. The Bluetooth radio signal between my phone and my UVO might be the culprit, as the wheel sensors communicate via radio signals as well.

but blinking = fault, not low pressure. Section 4, Page 52 in the owners manual.

It's not the letters TPMS. It's the little tire icon that is going off. So I know it's not a computer malfunction. Forgot to mention that. And all tires are at 33 psi as instructed in the manual.

Tire pressure can change a lot due to the outside temp and also how hot the tire gets because of how fast you are driving on it.

There are a lot of reasons tpms lights pop on. Under inflation, over inflation, poor signal from system, Even having other electronics can cause issues. Like others have stated it could have been a temperature issue. Check all your tires when they are cold. If the light comes on and stays then you have a low tire. If it comes on and blinks its an issue with the system.
